In 2024, I was invited out to CubeCon by Jonathan Brostoff (RIP) to do a video panel about designing a cube for first-timers who may be intimidated by the process, since it’s a daunting process. I came back in 2025 to record the panel as well.
There were various attempts to record the panel at both CubeCons – in 2024, the GameHole Con feed wasn’t recording it, and the audio capture in 2025 was well below what I’d consider usable.
Thankfully, I also presented the panel for the (now defunct) Table Top Jocks Discord. I approach it in a different way than most, by essentially defining what you want things to look like, build up components to build your cube from and sculpt down. It’s a method that I still use now.
